Thanks, Ed. Same to you two! It was 3° last night, high of 25° today, then down to 10 below tonight. Bright and sunny, though! Just a wee bit of snow. We’re having a Mongolian winter so far, dry and cold…
I really appreciate hearing from you all! We had a great Christmas, and we’re keeping warm. Good thing, too, because it’s supposed to get to 9 below tonight…
We actually had the worst BLIZZARD of the past 20 years in Okieland….too much wishing for a White Christmas I presume…(careful what we wish for, eh?)
So I KIND of imagine how it might be in Taos….But…looking at a Cold World with a Warm Heart….all we can do for now I suppose…and look at your wonderful FOTOS!! Thanks TOO MUCH some More. John!
(Okie speak) : )
Yeah, I heard about the actual, authentic snow you guys had. Here in Taos, there’s really nothing, except patches in the shade. Colder than you know what, though, although bright and sunny.
“Thanks TOO MUCH some more” is Okie-speak? Is that current country/western culture or regional? I need to get out more.
I think mostly it is just “Hick-Dumb ass” .. of which I can certainly be a part…but trying desperately to break free of…starting by using it – naming it…thus removing it’s power and grip upon me! HA!
And I think you are JUST FINE where you are…(and to tell the truth…it is NOT necessarily regional only to Okies….have heard similar phrases across this glorious land of ours!) : )

View 3,000 Photos Back to 12-15-2001!
• FotoFeed features almost 3,000 images, and you can view almost ALL of them sequentially, backwards or forwards . The current WordPress site goes back to June 14, 2009. On that page is a link to the last page of the preceding site, which goes all the way back to December 15, 2001.
• To see all photos starting from the present, just hit the "Previous Entries" or "Previous Post" links and work your way back.
• Unfortunately, you can't go forward from the oldest page (12-1-2001). But you can go from forward starting from January 5, 2006. From the preceding page, however, you can only go backwards to the beginning. Confusing, I know.
• The Photos by Category, Archives, and Search FotoFeed menus [right] only apply to the current site, going back to June 14, 2009, but you can find all kinds of interesting things.
• You can also use the Sitemap pages to search for photos at the current site by category and titles in a list format. Try it!
Hope you both have a warm time and some relaxation up there in the high country. Sitting on top of the world.
Ed and Sue
