Did you go on back there? When I lived in Santa Fe, cabin #1 (right by the footbridge) at Conejos Cabins in Platoro was my favorite place to run away to. Sometimes I’d cry, coming back to the desert from up there where the river ran.
We were just driving through, so no, I haven’t been up in there. Looks fabulous! And I very much understand the emotions. Coming out of the mountains and arriving in poor old Antonito was a hard letdown. I will make note of the cabin report, however…
